Race start/finish: Race begins at the River Grove Picnic Area in the Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Located on Chagrin River Road, between Chardon and Wilson Mills Roads.

Course description: Course is primarily dirt bridle trails; main loop includes major and minor rolling hills and one stream crossing. 8K course completes main loop once, 15K course main loop twice. Course begins and ends at the River Grove Picnic Area, winding through woods and connecting with the NC2 Bridle Trail.

Runners remain on NC2, only detouring to bike path around the back of Squire’s Castle for water stop and then connecting back to trail for remainder of course. Runners will be directed at the 8K/15K split. 8K runners will return to race/start finish area. 15K runners will continue on NC2, repeating main loop, and then will be directed back to race/start finish area.
