Routine medical exam & screenings
Newly enrolled IHC patients will receive a medical history assessment and physical exam, as well as medical screenings, including…
  • high blood pressure
  • diabetes
  • cholesterol
  • cervical and prostate cancer
  • sexually transmitted diseases
 
Specialty medical referrals
Enrolled IHC patients can be referred to specialty clinics through the Cleveland Clinic and other community providers, for additional medical services, including…
  • mammograms
  • vision screening and glasses
  • dental services
  • colonoscopies
  • obstetrics/gynecology
  • general surgery
  • podiatry
 
Prescriptions provided
If medications are prescribed, they are available at no charge to the IHC patient from patient assistant programs, CFC’s pharmacy or a local pharmacy. Diabetic supplies, including meters and strips, are also provided  by the IHC.
 
Working in wellness, too
To help clients work toward their health goals, the IHC also offers wellness-related programming.
